View all FAQsHow many classes run per day?
Up to 9 class times a day at Thousand Oaks, which is a lot for a single reformer room.
What is the intro offer at Thousand Oaks?
Figures vary. $55 appears as the intro price, while 3 classes for $49 and 5 classes for $79 both show up elsewhere. An older 5 for $49 has gone. Ask what is live.
What is ReformX?
The Reformer only class. It blends traditional Pilates repertoire with contemporary exercises, and the emphasis is precision and control rather than pace.
Is the studio accessible?
Yes. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking, plus gender neutral and wheelchair accessible restrooms. Showers and lockers too.
Does the workout repeat?
No. FS8 says its programming is built so you never repeat the same workout, which is the point of running three class styles.
What does a drop in cost at Thousand Oaks?
$39 for a single class. Booking runs through the FS8 App rather than the website schedule.
What are the hours here?
6am to 7:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 6:30pm on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are mornings only, finishing at 11am.
What is the difference between Original and Ignite?
Original is the blend: Pilates, Tone and Yoga inspired movement across reformer and mat, with cardio bursts and resistance folded in. Ignite is heavier. It takes Pilates principles and adds resistance training, cardio bursts and heavier spring loads, with dumbbells and bands in hand. Both stay low impact. If you want the reformer alone with nothing else in the way, ReformX is the third option.
