View all FAQsWhich Fort Pilates address is this one?
This is the Dekalb Avenue studio. Fort Pilates runs two locations in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, the other on Fulton Street, so check which address your Mindbody booking actually names.
Is the 20 pack worth buying at Fort Pilates?
A single group class is $45, the 5 pack is $215 at $43 a class, the 10 pack is $400 at $40, and the 20 pack is $700 at $35. That $35 is as cheap as group classes get here, so buy the 20 pack only if you will actually use all twenty, because unused credit is worse value at Fort Pilates than paying $45 as you go.
What is in the new client intro offer?
3 group classes for $75, or 2 private sessions for $140 if you would rather start on the apparatus alone. Both intro offers expire 8 weeks after purchase.
Are there cheaper classes than the $45 drop in?
Yes. Magic Hour is $27 a session and Community Classes are $15, both far below the $45 drop in, so scan the Fort Pilates timetable for those slots first.
What is the difference between a Certified and a Senior Instructor private?
A Certified Instructor private is $110, a Senior Instructor $125, and duets $70 per person.
Why is the cancellation deadline different for privates?
Privates and duets need 24 hours notice while group classes need 12 hours, because a private holds an instructor's slot that cannot be resold at short notice. Late admittance into class is not allowed either, so a late arrival at Fort Pilates means the class is gone. Bookings also need an account with a valid credit card on file.
Which day runs latest at the Dekalb Avenue studio?
Tuesday, which stays open until 9pm. The other weekdays open at 7am and close at 8pm, and the weekend ends at 2pm.
What is on the timetable besides standard Reformer classes?
Jump Board, Mixed Equipment, Magic Hour, Community, Pilates for Artists & Makers, and a Beginner Reformer and Foundation Principles class. Springboard Towers and Jumpboards sit alongside the Reformers.
