View all FAQsAre there really three studios inside?
Yes, and that is the whole proposition. A reformer studio, an infrared heated mat and sculpt studio, and a non heated room for flow, barre and strength. Three distinct environments under one roof means the class you book decides the temperature as well as the format.
Can anyone book a class?
Not yet. Booking is currently open to monthly members only, with pre sale membership options available to reserve a place on the schedule. The studio was scheduled to open on September 9th.
What are the class formats?
FORME HEAT for low impact high burn sculpting in infrared heat, FORME METHOD as the full body reformer class, FORME MAT for Pilates inspired floor work, FORME SCULPT as the high energy reformer session, and FORME FLOW.
What do I need to bring?
Grippy socks for reformer and mat classes, and a towel for mat classes specifically. Both are sold at the front desk if you forget, and a non glass water bottle is suggested.
How early should I arrive?
Fifteen minutes for a first class, for an orientation before you start.
What is the room like?
Air that turns over every ten minutes, cold water, and walls built to take loud music. The studio also promises parking you do not have to circle for, which in Glen Rock is a real claim.
What does the daily schedule look like?
6am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, closing at 7pm Friday, 8am to 2pm Saturday and 8am to 1pm Sunday.
What is in a reformer class?
Spring resistance with sequencing and props layered in, rather than a fixed repertoire.
