Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWho teaches Pilates at Evolution Fitness Lake Jackson?
Wendy teaches the Pilates classes, and they run inside the group class schedule. No Pilates rate is published, so call (979) 316-5292 and ask.
What does the Premium Membership cost to start?
Premium is a 12 month commitment that renews automatically, and the down payment comes to $122.58: a $99 activation fee, a $5 key fob and a first bi-weekly payment of $19.99. On top of that sits a $49 yearly maintenance fee. Month to month membership is offered too, so ask for that if a year long contract does not suit you.
Can I try Evolution Fitness before joining?
A 3 day free pass or 3 day free classes gets you through the door, and there is no trial membership. Guest passes are $5 with a member and $10 without. The 30 days for $24.70 with no enrollment fee was an August offer, so ask whether anything like it is running now.
Is the Lake Jackson gym really open 24 hours?
Yes, 24/7 and 365 days a year at Evolution Fitness. Overnight entry runs off the $5 key fob, so ask for one if you plan to train late.
Is childcare available during classes?
Childcare is onsite, which not every gym offers, and worth the ask. Check the staffed windows by phone, because childcare cover rarely stretches across a gym that never closes.
What else is in the Lake Jackson building besides weights?
The weight training area carries Hammer Strength equipment, benches and free weights, with cardio and functional training gear as well. Beyond the floor there is a HydroMassage Bed, dry saunas, executive locker rooms with private showers, a Women's Only Workout Room, a Cross-Training Room, a Functional Training Area and a Recovery Center. Pole Fitness is advertised as coming soon.
Is 4.4 from 148 reviews a fair picture?
4.4 from 148 reviews is a real sample for a Lake Jackson gym, not a handful of friends, so the average is worth reading. Check the recent ones for staffing.
Is there a discount if I ask for one?
Yes, $10 off each month for your first three months, given on request.
