Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
What is Performance LAB?

Semi private training where you work independently during LAB hours, with the option to add coaching through the Train Heroic app and in person support. A LAB Pass covering unlimited access during those hours is $125 a month, which is the cheapest way to use the space.

Who runs the studio?

Two co founders. EJ Madriaga is a movement specialist with over a decade in athletic performance and Pilates, certified through NASM and Fletcher Pilates. Catherine Anderson has over 25 years in Pilates and builds neurocentric programmes.

What do the subscriptions cost?

$260 a month for two classes a week, $350 for three and $420 for four. A single class is $35 and a ten pack is $320.

Are there cheaper class options?

Yes, a five class virtual pack at $100 and a five class mat pack at $125, both well below the standard rate.

What does private training cost?

$100 for one session, $450 for five and $800 for ten, one to one and built around your goals and movement quality.

What runs in group training?

Pilates combined with strength training and conditioning, across mat Pilates, classic Pilates, power Pilates and circuit training.

The hours are published twice. Which apply?

One record has Monday and Wednesday running to 8:30pm with Tuesday and Thursday finishing at 12:30pm. The other has weekdays from 7:30am to 7pm throughout. Confirm before planning an evening session.

Is this a Pilates studio or a gym?

Both, deliberately. It describes itself as a strength training and Pilates gym focused on performance, mobility and injury prevention, which is a different proposition from a reformer studio.
