View all FAQsI'm new to Club Pilates in Hell's Kitchen. How do I actually get into a class here?
You book through their website at clubpilates.com/location/west57th. The first class is free, so you can try it without paying.
Is the free first class a real thing, or is there a catch?
It's real. The first class is free, and they also offer a complimentary 30-minute intro session. No catch that we found.
What's the damage for a single drop-in class at this location?
A single drop-in is about $39. If you're planning to come regularly, an unlimited membership runs around $339 a month, and new members sometimes get a discounted first month like $99 for unlimited.
Do I need to bring my own grip socks, or can I buy them there?
You need grip socks for all classes, and they sell branded ones at the front desk for about $15 to $20 a pair. So you can buy them there if you forget.
What equipment will I actually be using in a typical class?
They have Reformers, Chairs, Springboards, Jumpboards, and Mats. Classes are reformer-based small group sessions, and they also use TRX and Exo chairs. So you'll be on a Reformer for sure.
Are there showers at this location?
Most Club Pilates locations don't have showers, and this one is described as having basic changing areas and limited storage. So plan to shower elsewhere.
Is there parking nearby if I drive?
There's a parking garage at 601 W. 57th St. called MTP Parking, open 24/7 with valet and covered parking. Rates run about $36 to $52 depending on how long you stay.
