Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Can I just book a class?

Not as a new client. The studio requires a $25 one hour private assessment first, covering an introduction to the reformer and a full body workout. Twenty five dollars for an hour one to one is cheap, and it means nobody arrives in a group class not knowing what a footbar is.

How long has the studio been open?

Since 2002, as the first Pilates studio in Camarillo. Twenty odd years in one town is a rarer thing in this industry than it sounds.

How many people in a reformer class?

Eight at most, which lets the instructor give modifications rather than blanket cues.

How is membership priced?

$195 a month for two reformer classes a week, $235 for three and $275 for four. A 30 day trial membership at three classes a week is $150.

What is Foundation Training?

A half hour session at $45, running 25 to 30 minutes rather than the 55 that everything else here runs. It is the short format for working on one thing.

What do private lessons cost?

$85 for one, $400 for five and $700 for ten. Duets are $60 each for a single session, $285 for a five pack and $500 for a ten pack per person.

Is there a cheaper class option?

Floor classes, meaning mat, foundation and Bosu, at $20 a session or $180 for ten. Equipment classes are $35 or $295 for ten.

What is in the private room?

A Cadillac, spring boards and a Wunda Chair, with soft balls, foam rollers and a Pilates Arc used regularly in classes.
