View all FAQsHow much is the intro class at BodyLine Pilates?
The intro Reformer Group class is $20.00. A separate new member offer bundles two Pilates apparatus classes and unlimited fitness classes for 14 days at $59. Booking runs through Mindbody, or call (718) 569-9955.
Why does a Tower class cost less than an Apparatus class?
Tower Pilates Group is $30.00 a class where Apparatus Group is $40.00, so the equipment sets the rate. The packs keep that gap: Tower runs $250.00 for the 10-class pack and $400.00 for the 20-class pack, against $350.00 and $600.00 on the Apparatus side.
Which BodyLine class pack is worth the money?
Do the honest arithmetic on how often you will get to Hylan Blvd before you hand over $600.00 for the 20-class Apparatus pack. It is the cheapest per class of the packs on offer, with the 10-class pack at $350.00 and the 5-class pack at $200.00 sitting above it, but a large pack only pays if you keep turning up. Ask on (718) 569-9955 whether they expire.
Should I trust the five star rating?
Five stars from 9 reviews is a very thin sample, so read it as a good sign rather than proof. BodyLine has been teaching in Staten Island for 13 years, which carries more weight.
Do the posted Sunday hours look right?
Sunday reads 9:30pm to 12am and Monday opens at 12am, which no Pilates studio actually keeps, so both spans are worth a phone check on (718) 569-9955. Saturday, 9am to 1pm, and the 8am to 9pm weekday span read normally.
Where do BodyLine clients park on Hylan Blvd?
There is on site parking, and the spots marked with an F are the ones kept for clients. Head up to the second floor at 1754 Hylan Blvd once you are out of the car.
Does BodyLine run classes for beginners and older clients?
Yes. Alongside Reformer, Mat and intensive Mat classes there are groups aimed at beginners, at seniors and at prenatal clients, plus private and semi private sessions if you would rather not start in a group. Group sizes are capped, so say what you want when you book.
Do I need socks for a class here?
Yes. Socks are required at BodyLine, and comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are what they recommend.
