On Tuesday and Thursday, which open at 6am. Monday and Saturday do not start until 8am, so this is not the studio for a pre work session every day of the week.

Because loose clothing catches on the reformer springs. That is a mechanical reason, not a style rule, and it is worth taking seriously the first time you lie down on a moving carriage.
Is the weekend shorter?
Saturday 8am to 1pm and Sunday 9am to 1pm. Mornings only, and Sunday is four hours in total.
How much time should I leave for a first visit?
Fifteen minutes before the start. That covers check in, meeting the instructor and getting shown how the reformer adjusts to your height, which is not something you want to be doing while nine other people wait.
