View all FAQsOnly 21 reviews. Can I trust the rating?
Not on its own. 4.6 across 21 ratings is the smallest sample of any BODYBAR here, so a couple of unhappy visits would move it noticeably. Judge the Stacy Road studio by a visit rather than by the number.
What happens on Sunday?
9am to 12pm, three hours, which is the shortest Sunday of any BODYBAR on this site. Saturday is 7am to 12pm and Friday closes at 3pm.
What is Agility?
The Jumpboard format. You stay on the reformer but jump against spring tension instead of pressing through it, lying flat with your feet on a board at the end of the carriage. That makes it the cardio class in the timetable without the joint loading of running, since your spine never takes bodyweight. Worth knowing before you book: it is the format people either take to immediately or dislike, and there is not much middle ground.
How early does the studio open?
Weekdays start at 5:30am, Monday and Tuesday running all the way through to 8pm. Friday keeps the 5:30am open but stops at 3pm.
Are grip socks compulsory at the Stacy Road studio?
Yes, every class, no exceptions. If you arrive without a pair they are sold at reception, so a forgotten pair costs money rather than the class.
Which class should a beginner book?
Precision, which focuses on full body strength, core stability and proper form. The studio recommends it for anyone new to reformer work or to BODYBAR itself.
How much time should I leave?
Early enough that somebody can set a reformer to your height before the room fills.
