Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhich AdF location has the reformers?
College Ave. AdF studio runs two locations in Oakland, 5262 College Ave and 6399 Telegraph Ave, and the Telegraph Avenue address teaches Mat Pilates exclusively. Book College if you want reformer work.
Is the College Avenue studio women only?
Yes. The College Ave classes are described as exclusively for women, beginner-friendly work balancing cardio, legs and abs. Grip socks are required, and mats and equipment are provided.
How many reformers are at the College Avenue studio?
Five reformers, which is why booking early matters. There is no back row to slip into.
Do weekend classes start at 7am or 8am?
Two versions circulate, so confirm when you book. Weekday hours agree at 6am to 7pm Monday through Friday. For the weekend, one source has the College Ave doors open 8am to 1pm, while another puts Saturday and Sunday at 7am to 1pm and reserves the 8am start for Telegraph Ave. If a 7am slot matters to you, phone (510) 629-1168 first.
Does AdF publish class prices?
No rates are published, and Pilates pricing in Rockridge moves, so ring (510) 629-1168 rather than trusting a figure from elsewhere. Booking runs through Marianatek once you have an account.
What happens if I cancel at the last minute?
Classes have to be cancelled at least 24 hours ahead, otherwise a late cancel or no-show fee applies. Reservations are subject to availability, so a 6am slot can go days before.
Is AdF only a Pilates studio?
No. It trades as a wellness and lifestyle brand, so a matcha bar, floral arrangements and event services sit beside the fitness classes. The founder is a first-generation Mexican-American Latina entrepreneur aiming at luxury wellness for Rockridge.
What is the AdF Recovery Room?
A separate space at 6397 Telegraph Avenue, with infrared saunas and cold. It sits by the Telegraph Ave mat rooms, not the College Ave reformer floor.
