View all FAQsIs my first class free?
Yes, one eligible class for new students. Register and reserve online before you arrive so the spot is actually held.
What does a class cost after that?
$35 or less for a drop in. Packs of 5, 10 or 20 classes bring it down to as little as $20 a class, and monthly and yearly memberships exist too.
What Pilates actually runs here?
Core Blast Pilates and Barre Pilates on the adult timetable, alongside mat work. It is one strand of a much wider programme rather than the whole studio.
Can my whole family train here?
Yes, and that is rather the point of the place. Separate programmes run for children, teens, adults and older adults, often at after school and evening times.
How do I get there?
1521 York Avenue near East 80th Street, on the Upper East Side. The M79 and M31 buses stop close by.
What should I wear to a sound bath?
Comfortable loose clothing, and bring a blanket or a pillow if it helps you settle. Yoga mats are provided for the Sound Bath Experience.
When is the studio open?
It varies by day. Tuesday is longest at 8:30am to 9pm, Thursday runs 9:30am to 8:30pm, and Saturday is short at 8am to 3pm.
What else is on the timetable besides fitness classes?
A great deal. Isshin-ryu and Goju-ryu Karate, Tai Chi, Women's Self-Defense and Corporate Self-Defense on the martial arts side. Heels Dance, Adult Ballet, Bachata and Belly Dancing for movement. Meditation and Reiki Healing sit alongside those. For children there is Karate, ballet, Sports Prep Fitness for ages 6 to 13, and an After School programme. Community events run too, from yoga in the park to kids karate tournaments.
